Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data cormacrepman.com and the tools Cormac Repman operates collect, why, and what your rights are. Cormac Repman, based in the United Kingdom, is the data controller. UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply.
What we collect
- Contact and booking details you give us when you book a call or fill in a form: name, email, phone, company, and anything you write in the form.
- Site analytics: pages visited, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type. This is aggregated and used to understand what content is useful.
- Social-media account data when the account owner connects an account (for example TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube or Instagram) to our publishing tools: the access token the platform issues, the account's public profile identifiers, and the content and performance statistics of posts published through the tool.
We do not collect payment card details on this site. Where a business Cormac is involved with sells a service, it has its own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To reply to you and arrange the call or follow-up you asked for.
- To schedule and publish content to social-media accounts that the account owner has authorised, and to read back how that content performed.
- To keep the site working, secure and improving.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use social-media account data for anything other than publishing to, and reporting on, the authorised account.
Lawful basis
Contact and booking data: our legitimate interest in responding to your request, or your consent where you ask to be contacted. Social-media connections: the consent the account owner gives when authorising the connection, which can be withdrawn at any time by revoking access on the platform. Analytics: our legitimate interest in running the site.
Third parties we rely on
- Hosting and security: Cloudflare.
- Scheduling: Calendly and Cal.com, which process the details you enter when you book.
- Email: Apple iCloud Mail and Zoho Mail.
- Social-media platforms you connect: their own privacy policies govern what they do with your data on their side.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
Contact and booking details: for as long as we are in touch, and up to two years after the last contact unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Social-media access tokens: until you revoke the connection or the token expires, whichever is first. Analytics: 14 months in aggregated form.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. To delete a connected social-media account's data, revoke the connection on the platform and email us; we will remove the stored token and related data within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies needed for it to work and for aggregated analytics. Booking widgets from Calendly or Cal.com may set their own cookies when you use them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
